Day 8 Business Academy, powered by Mansmith and Fielders Inc., presents the 5th Entrep Summit, with the theme inspired from the bestselling book “Entrepreneurship” by Josiah Go and Chiqui Escareal-Go, “4 Gates of Entrepreneurship.”

Six speakers from different industries shared in-depth, actual industry experiences about the 4 Gates of Entrepreneurship.

The first day of the event, record-breaking bestselling author Josiah Go shared the framework of the 4 Gates of Entrepreneurship (The Prosperity Essential). Afterward, each of these four gates were shared further by individual speakers.

Audrey Tanco, the Managing Director of Bizu Catering Studio & Co-Founder of Frozen MNL, explained Gate 1: Preparation and Pivot (The IQ Essential), followed by Dennis Balajadia, CEO of Dragon Edge (Beach Hut / Cycles Baby), who shared his knowledge for Gate 2: Marketing and Strategy (The CQ Essential).

The second conference day, Joey Espiritu, CEO of Food Chow and TentKing, tackled Gate 3: Execution and Organization (The EQ Essential). For Gate 4, Ryan Cruz, Founder & CEO of Nippon Hasha (Ramen Yushoken / Mendokoro Ramemba), emphasized the topic of Gate 4: Self Leadership and Resiliency (The AQ Essential).

As a closing framework, Chiqui Escareal-Go, CEO of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc., shared The WE Entrepreneur: Understanding The 5 Tasks and 5 Treasures of Entrepreneurship.

The 5th Entrep Summit aimed to help MSMEs to have a clear understanding of each of these gates in order for their businesses to achieve success and prosperity.

Josiah Go

Josiah Go is the Chairman and Chief Innovation Strategist of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc., and Chairman of Waters Philippines (the market leader in the direct selling of premium home water purifiers in the Philippines). He is Chairman / Vice Chairman / Director of over a dozen companies. He is thought leader with 18 bestselling and recordbreaking marketing and entrepreneurship books, as well as the most awarded business educator of the Philippines having been recognized as one of the Agora Awardees in 1994, one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) of the Philippines in 2001, one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) of the World in 2002 (the 1st and only Filipino in Business Education given by World JCI in a competition of over 1,000 TOYMs), and one of only two Lifetime Achievement Awardees by the Association of Marketing Educators (2007), the youngest marketing educator to be bestowed this honor.
