Battery warning light on my Escalade, need to sort it ASAP
The battery light flashed on briefly this morning while I was driving my Escalade through the Al Taawun area, and then it disappeared. I know enough about cars to know that’s not something to ignore, especially in these big American SUVs with all the electronics and the power-hungry systems. I’m planning a trip to the east coast this weekend with the family and really don’t want to risk breaking down on the road somewhere. I’ve got a few hours free tomorrow morning and want to get it checked out and probably replaced before the weekend rush. I’m looking for Quick Cadillac battery dealers in Sharjah that would have the right AGM battery in stock for the Escalade and could fit me in without an appointment. I know these trucks need a specific battery with enough CCA to handle the big engine and all the gadgets, and I don’t want to end up with something undersized from a general spare parts shop. Does anyone know a place near the coast road that keeps these in stock and can do the swap while I wait? I’d rather not drive all the way into Industrial Area if I don’t have to.
