I’m taking my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder on a long road trip through some remote areas next month and the last thing I want is to get stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery. The current one is about three years old and has been fine around the city, but I’ve noticed it cranks a bit slower on really hot afternoons. After reading a bunch of forums, it seems like Amaron has a solid reputation for heat resistance, so I’m hoping to find a Trusted Amaron 80Ah Car Battery Dubai before I head out. Does anyone know if the 80Ah size is a direct fit for the Pathfinder or do I need to modify the tray? Also wondering if I should upgrade to an AGM since I’ll be using a fridge and some lights when camping, or if a standard flooded battery will handle occasional deep discharges. Trying to balance cost and reliability. Any advice from overlanders would be awesome.
