The cause of a corrupted word file could be due to a number of issues such as an incomplete save process, abrupt system shutdowns, storage issues, or file corruption. To ensure that you don’t damage your existing file any further, make sure to first create a copy of the original document. In Microsoft Word, open a new document, click on File > Open > Browse, select the problematic document, and use the “Open and Repair” from the drop-down menu. There is also another feature known as “Recover Text from Any File” which you could try if all you need is the text in the document. If that doesn’t work either, then the solution to look into would be the “Notchox Corrupted File Recovery.”
