Took my 5 series to a shop in Al Quoz for brakes and now the pedal feels softer than before

Had the front pads and sensors done on my 2018 530i last Tuesday at a place a colleague recommended near the industrial area and while the squeak is finally gone and the warning light reset itself properly I’ve noticed over the last few days that the brake pedal just feels a bit spongy like there’s an extra half inch of travel before the car actually starts to bite which wasn’t there before the work was done. The car still stops fine and there’s no warning lights on the dash but I’m paranoid that maybe they didn’t bleed the system correctly after pushing the pistons back or perhaps there’s a tiny bit of air trapped in one of the lines that’s only noticeable now that I’m paying extra attention to every little detail like a lunatic. I’ve been reading that some shops skip the proper bedding procedure or forget to reset the service indicator in the iDrive which I already checked and it’s showing fresh pad life so at least that part is sorted. I’m honestly considering taking it somewhere else just to have a second set of eyes look at it and I found a few mentions of BMW brake pad repair experts UAE in some local groups that seem to actually understand the nuances of these electronic parking brake systems and the correct bleeding sequence which apparently is a bit specific on the G30 chassis. Anyone else ever had a pedal feel change after a simple pad swap or am I just overthinking it and need to drive the car a bit more to let the pads fully seat against the old rotors?
